When should I arrive and leave?
All guests are invited to stay on-site from Friday, 4th April to Monday, 7th April 2026.
Please plan to arrive by early afternoon (around 4pm) on the 4th so you can settle in before the welcome dinner. Check-out will be the morning of the 7th.
š
Where is the wedding taking place?
The Wedding will take place across two of the on-site villas.
ā
The ceremony will take place at The Villa, before we move to The View for the reception and party time!
š”
Is accommodation included?
We’re so grateful to Richard and Maria for generously covering three nights’ accommodation at The Edge Uluwatu from April 4th to 7th 2026 for everybody. It will be so special to be able to spend these 3 nights together!
ā±ļø
What else is covered during my stay?
Wendy and Steve will be kindly hosting the welcome dinner & recovery lunch, including food and drinks. We're so looking forward to these events!
ā
On the wedding day, there will be canapes and dinner served.
ā
Outside of these events, food and drinks will be available for purchase at the on-site restaurants. You're welcome to explore Uluwatu also (although you will find it hard to leave once you see the resort).
š
Do I need a visa?
We recommend organising your visa before you arrive.
ā
New Zealanders can get what is called a Visa on Arrival in Bali.
You can do this ahead of time (despite the name) via the Immigration Website linked here.
Or if you're not planning on doing this ahead of time, you can also get it issued at the VoA counters at the airport on arrival. Be prepared for queues, and ensure you have card or cash (EUR, USD, AUD, GBP).

What’s the dress code?
The wedding dress code is Cocktail to Formal.
The wedding day will be outdoors, so choose something comfortable for warm weather. There will be grass areas, so be careful if you're planning on wearing stilettos.
ā
We will all have the opportunity to go back to villas before the sun goes down, to get a light layer for the evening breeze.
ā
The Welcome Dinner and the Day After will be more casual events, so a 'Bali Smart' dress code. Dresses, linen pants, open shirts would all fit the brief.ā

What should I pack?
April marks the start of Bali’s dry season, so expect warm, sunny days and balmy nights (around 28–32°C).
Most important items are; swimwear, light clothing, your wedding day outfit, and your passport!
š
What about gifts?
Your presence in Bali is the best gift. We appreciate that it's an investment on your part to be here with us, so we truly don't expect anything, other than your vacation vibes!
š·
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
During the wedding, we have photos and videos sorted. Please no phones or cameras during the ceremony and reception.
ā
Outside of this phone-free gap, you'll have the opportunity to take plenty of amazing pics of the venue, the views, and your sunkissed faces!
